Despite the art historical association with this movement, the artist preserved his own style. From 1965 to 1990, Sonderborg was professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. From 1969 to 1970, he was a visiting professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and, in 1986, a visiting professor at the Art Institute in Chicago.... Read full biography
