During his early adult life he lived in Kibbutz Lahavot Habashan. In 1962, he left the Kibbutz and began to study drawing under Marcel Janco and sculpture under Michael Gross at the Oranim Seminar. During his early adult life he lived in Kibbutz Lahavot Habashan. In 1962, he left the Kibbutz and began to study drawing under Marcel Janco and sculpture under Michael Gross at the Oranim Seminar.
