Theodor Rosenhauer first attended the Realschule in Radebeul and the Dresden School of Applied Arts before studying with Ferdinand Dorsch at the Dresden Art Academy from 1919 to 1924. In 1924 he began to paint as a freelancer, he belonged to the circle of friends around Karl Kröner and Paul Wilhelm. In 1925 a study trip to Romania followed, which influenced his...
