He works primarily in watercolor, and with a love of flying, does aerial views of island landscapes. He was a student at the University of Southern Maine; the Montserrat School of Visual Arts in Beverly, Massachusetts; Marlboro College in Vermont; and the Rhode Island School of Design. In Rhode Island, he studied glass blowing with Dale Chihuly and sculpture with Italo Scanga.
