Hayward) was born in Port Hope, Ontario; however in 1875 he went to art school in England and stayed there for the rest of his life. His home (since about 1919) and the place of his death was Hemingford Grey, a village in the county of Cambridgeshire (then Huntingdonshire), about 60 miles due north of London. (1) (2).
