He was President of the Associated Artists in Watercolour in 1810 and was elected a Member of the Society in 1813. Cox lived in Hereford and London from 1817 to 1840, while continuing to visit Birmingham and exhibiting at the Birmingham Society of Artists. Cox relied largely on teaching at Military...
