As a member of the ‘Künstlergenossenschaft’ in Munich, Erwin Knirr presented works at the Munich Glass Palace (from 1924), as well as the Venice Biennale and the Vienna Secession. Further exhibitions took place at the Galerie Heinemann, Munich. Erwin's diversified oeuvre includes landscapes, portraits, figural compositions, interiors and still lifes. Erwin Knirr died in Schaftlach, Germany, in 1973.
