He is represented in various museums, including the Museu de Chiado, the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro. He has won the Bienal de São Paulo Prize for scenery for the Gulbenkian Ballet and the Painting Prize from the Lisbon Academy of Fine Arts. A Espiga Pinto House-Museum is set to open in Vila Viçosa soon.
