Ferencz Franz Eisenhut was born in 1857 in Nemet Palanka. Eisenhut became a Hungarian oil painter and studied at the art academy in Munich under Gyula Benczúr, Ludwig Löfftz and Wilhelm v. Diez. In 1883/1884 Eisenhut made his first trip to the Orient in the Caucasus as far as Baku, after which he traveled from Munich to North Africa and Egypt as well as the Middle East. Ferencz Franz Eisenhut's first oriental painting was "Healing through the Koran" from 1883, which Emperor Franz Joseph I. v. of Austria commissioned for the royal palace in Buda.
