Traveling to European art centers, he studied the techniques of the Old Masters and became especially attracted to the work of the British watercolorists. From then on, he devoted all of his attention to painting in watercolor and developing the style of fused coloring which he became well-known for. Siniscal was a collector of Falzoni's art and corresponded in Italian with the artist.
