He continued to study and paint in the London area until moving to Canada in 1969 to teach art in the Edmonton school system. He continued to study and paint in the London area until moving to Canada in 1969 to teach art in the Edmonton school system. Desiring to pursue his craft further, he left teaching in 1980 to paint full time. For the past 15 years Jim has devoted most of his time to developing themes that would work well for Mountain Galleries.
