Fritz received various honors, including an honorary diploma from Dresden in 1887 and “Mention honorable” in 1900 at the World Exhibition in Paris. He is represented in the Altenburg Museum and Gotha Castle. Fritz's artwork style was German landscape painting. The artist passed away in 1930.
