He had a contract with Rowneys (artist materials) and tutored professionally. He painted the landscape of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and East Anglia being much influenced by the work of Edward Seago. He was also a member of the Prestigious Wapping Group of Artists (invitees only may join), which numbered Leslie Kent among its members. He also included artist Trevor Chamberlain in his circle.
