Albert Papikyan, a People’s Artist of Russia, was a talented artist known for his portraits, landscapes, and thematic pictures. He won the all-union contest as a schoolchild, which granted him the opportunity to study at the Painting School for gifted children in Moscow. Papikyan later studied at the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture under the guidance of B. Ioganson.
