George Horne Russell RCA (1861 - 1933). George Horne Russell (AKA: G. Horne Russell) was a painter, draftsman and a President of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts*. He was born in Banff, Scotland and emigrated to Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1890. He lived there and at his summer home in St. Andrews, New Brunswick for the rest of his life.
