Before settling in Paris in 1902 and studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Marius Joseph Saïn attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Avignon and Marseille. During his training he worked under the direction of the famous sculptors Gabriel Thomas, Antoine Injalbert and Henri Allouard and collaborated with Félix Charpentier in his workshop.
