From 1943 he was a member of the artists' union 'Manes' and two years later became a member of the association 'Hollar'. During this time he also developed an interest in and knowledge of Cubism. In the following years, he created mainly drawings and illustrations. During this time he also developed an interest in and knowledge of Cubism. In the following years, he created mainly drawings and illustrations.
