He made his debut in 1911 at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Krakow. During the Great War, fighting in the ranks of the Austro-Hungarian army, he made works depicting the life of soldiers at the front. He made his debut in 1911 at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Krakow. During the Great War, fighting in the ranks of the Austro-Hungarian army, he made works depicting the life of soldiers at the front. In 1918, he married Helena Grenikówna and in 1920 he settled in Nowy Wisnicz, where he actively created. From 1951 Stanislaw Klimowski was a teacher at the local Secondary School of Fine Arts. After his wife's death, in 1961 he moved to Katowice, where he stayed until the end of his life. Klimowski's output is diverse. It contains portraits, genre scenes, landscapes and religious representations performed for churches in Malopolska.
