Erich Glette was born in 1896, in Wiesbaden, Germany. Regarded as a German painter, Erich participated for the first time in the exhibition of the New Succession in Munich, in 1922. By the late 1920's, his works were purchased by the Bavarian State Paint Collection and the Municipal Gallery. Under the Third Reich, Erich was banned from exhibiting.
