He continued his studies in Copenhagen at the Kunstnernes Frie Studieskoler, where he became a student of the influential artist Kristian Zahrtmann. He continued his studies in Copenhagen at the Kunstnernes Frie Studieskoler, where he became a student of the influential artist Kristian Zahrtmann.
