The finest McKim that we've ever had. Illustrated as frontispiece in recent TAM McKim Exhibition Retrospective catalog. Exceptionally well matched carved period panel frame. Probably painted around Sandy River, Oregon, depicting native figure, campfire & canoe alongside Forested River Reflection.

This creek may very well be Patton Creek, one of the artist's favorite haunts.
