His work carries themes from the Dada movement as he has tried to involve the public into his art. Winters attended the San Francisco Art Institute in California. He lives in New York and maintains a studio in the Catskill Mountains outside the city. He has exhibited throughout Europe and the United States including shows at the Michael Klein Gallery and the Barbara Krakow Gallery.
